Assistant in Ministries
Areas of Ministry: Rev. George W. Lindsey, Jr. serves as the Assistant in Ministries at FMBC. With a heart for the people of God, Rev. Lindsey provides countless hours as a helpful and caring assistant to interface with the congregation and the pastor. He brings influential leadership in outreach as he works with the Joint Missionary Society, Brotherhood Organization and Jail/Prison Ministry. Rev. Lindsey offers his gift of evangelism to FMBC and is an instrumental part of the Evangelism/Witnessing Ministry. With a love for people, Rev. Lindsey spends numerous hours visiting the sick, shut-in and bereaved families of our congregation and community. He is a doting father and loves spending time with his grandchildren.

Why I love working in ministry: I am blessed to be a part of a ministry that believes bringing people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is still at the center of what we do. How “wonderful” it is when persons are connected to Christ and community through a loving congregation such as First Baptist.
